Activating Activities in the Component Build ServiceThis procedure is used in the scenarios 2+ and 3, in which the Component Build Service is available.
The Component Build Service does most of its work automatically – usually all you have to do is start the processes. The CBS executes these tasks:
· Central build
· Activating activities
You have checked in your activities into the Design Time Repository. Your activities are now closed.
...
1. Open the Activation view under Window ® Show View ® Other... ® CBS Activation.
You see your closed activities.
2. In the context menu, choose Activate.
The source files in your activity are now built centrally and activated.

You can also activate your souce files whenever you check in activities. You can monitor the build process in the Activation Requests view.
You now have runtime objects for your source files. Your DCs are now available in the new or changed version in the Active workspace. You can use the Transport view of the Change Management Service to release them.
