Portal Application Development Support of the
Plug-In
Purpose
The portal application plug-in speeds up the portal application development process. You develop and deploy your portal application without changing the development environment. A portal application has to be packaged in a PAR file and must be uploaded to the portal before being executed.
Features
This plug-in provides functions to create Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) files and serializers, as well as transformation functions from a portal service to a portal Web service. The following list provides links to the detailed information of the functions:
· Configuration of the plug-in: settings for the plug-in to communicate with the portal.
· Convert a portal service to a portal Web service: creates a WSDL file and the configuration files and updates the portalapp.xml file.
· Create a portal service from a WSDL file: create portal service, update configuration file and portalapp.xml.
