Settings of the ”Ignored Resources“

Use

During the development process, some files are created by developers, others are generated. Whether generated files are stored in the Design Time Repository (DTR) or not, depends on the development scenario. The SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio allows you to specify which files shall be ignored by the DTR.

Prerequisites

·        You are logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

·        You use Scenario 1: Team-Oriented Development or you used it and now use a different scenario.

The default settings apply for all sceanrios.

Procedure

...

       1.      Open the settings in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio under Window ® Preferences.

       2.      Choose Team ® Ignored Resources.

       3.      Make the following settings:

                            a.      Scenario 1: Remove the selection from the checkboxes of the following file types:

§         .project

§         .classpath

They must be stored in this scenario.

                            b.      Szenarios 2, 2+ and 3: Set the selections in the checkboxes of the following file types:

§         .project

§         .classpath

§         .project

§         .classpath

§         .project

§         .classpath

They should not be stored in these scenarios.
