Use

The DTR administrator plug-in is an enhancement of the DTR Eclipse client. It allows you to comfortably execute administrative tasks in the DTR.

·        Maintaining the user authorizations for DTR resources

·        Integrating activities

·        Displaying technical properties

·        Creating workspace folders

·        Creating workspaces

·        Creating folders

You can execute several of these tasks, such as creating workspaces and workspace folders or integrating activities, also in the command line client of the DTR.

Prerequisites

·        The user has administrator rights for the respective DTR server.

·        The DTR administrator plug-in is installed and activated:

To make sure that the plug-in is active: If necessary, rename the plugin.xml.disabled file under the <installation directory of the NetWeaver Developer Studio>\eclipse\plugins\com.tssap.dtr.client.eclipse.admin\ to plugin.xml.

Maintaining the User Authorizations for DTR Resources

       1.      Open the context menu for the DTR resource (for example, in one of these views: Repository Browser, Open Activities, Activation View, Closed Activities, etc.)

       2.      Choose View Permissions.

The Permissions view appears.

Integrating Activities

       1.      Open the DTR view Closed Activities.

       2.      Select one or more activities.

       3.      Open the context menu and choose Integrate to...

A dialog window appears.

       4.      Select the target workspaces.

       5.      Confirm with OK.

Displaying Technical Properties

...

       1.      Open the context menu for the DTR resource (for example, in one of these views: Repository Browser, Open Activities, Activation View, Closed Activities, etc.) and choose Technical Properties.

Creating Workspace Folders

       1.      Open the context menu of the DTR root node or the workspace folder node (for example, in view Repository Browser) and choose Create Workspace.

For this action, no activity is required.
