Declaring the Use of Other DCs 

 

You determine the specific meaning of a library DC by entering other DCs as Used DCs. In this way, you define the dependency for the relevant library DC and can thus select Java DCs or other library DCs.

Prerequisites

The public part must be defined for the Java DCs to be used.

You are logged on to the DTR server.

 

Procedure

To specify Java DCs or library DCs as Used DCs, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      In the project structure of the used library DC, expand the subnode DC MetaData..

       2.      Open the context menu for   Used DCs and choose Add Used DC.

    If these changes have not yet been assigned to a DTR activity, the dialog box Select       Activity appears.

       3.      Assign an activity.

    The dialog box Used Help: Used DCs appears.

       4.      Expand the tree for the relevant software component and select the public part for the desired Java DC (library DC).

       5.      Specify the time for which the dependency is to be valid- Check all At checkboxes for this (if not already done). 

       6.      Choose Finish.
