Hi

I found and fixed several problems in the behavioural 
i2c slace testbench in the i2c master core.

Also added some status information and a little selfchecking
to the top testbench.

what is the procedure for returning these tweaks?

note, I've probably upset things by re-indenting the slave 
module with emacs so that it fitted on my screen.
