Installation
Install the distribution of your choice. This is beyond the scope of this presentation, however install according to the distro's install instructions.
You should take your time and select the individual packages which you want to install. Install as few packages as you can. The more packages you install, the greater the number of possible exploits. Debian installs can actually be replicated from machine to machine by use of dpkg --get-selections and dpkg --set-selections.
