Prerequisites ------------- You must have the version F.04 of the BIOS installed, check this webpage: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?&lang=en&cc=uk&pnameOID=1849083&taskId=135&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=1849082&lang=en&cc=uk Procedure --------- 1) Clear the TPM ownership: - Enter the BIOS settings (press F10 when you see the line "F10=ROM Based Setup" only); - Enter the "Security" section, then "TPM Embedded Security"; - Set "Reset to Factory Settings" from "No" to "Yes"; - Save and exit (confirm with F10). 2) During the following boot, answer "Yes" when asked "Clear the TPM?" (clearing also deactivates the TPM). 3) Re-Activate the TPM: - enter the BIOS settings; - enter the "Security" section, then "TPM Embedded Security"; - set "Embedded Security Device State" from "Disable" to "Enable"; - save and exit (confirm with F10). 4) During the following boot, answer "Yes" when asked "Activate the TPM?".
