This directory /pub/suse/i386/update/<version>/kernel was formerly used to
keep kernel update packages for SUSE Linux products. Starting with SUSE
Linux 8.1, the YOU (Yast Online Update) utility is capable of performing
kernel updates just like any other package. Therefore, we do not make the
distinction any more between kernel packages and other packages. You can
access the kernel update packages in the directory where all other update
packages are located.
