This package contains some QT extensions (Netscape plugin, ImageIO, OpenGL). The former QT package was split into the following ones:
qtlib runtime libraries
qtdevel developpment environment
qtext extensions
If you want to develop programs with QT or simply e.g. recompile KDE, then you have to install the qtdevel package.
