Beachten Sie bitte auch die Datei README.O32! -AMIGA: | - transdsk.bin Ein Programm, das es erlaubt, Teile einer Floppy | in die RAM-Disk zu laden - transrom.bin Die Programme dumptos.ttp und tosdump.prg dienen dem auslesen und abspeichern von TOS-Images auf Disk. Das Programm dumptos.ttp funktioniert nur mit TOS-Versionen 2.x. Das Programm tosdump.prg mit 1.0, 1.4 und 2.06 -ATARI: | - tosdump.prg Tool zum 'Abziehen' eine TOS images dumptos.ttp -AUTOCN2G: | -autocon.exe Verwaltung/Booten von verschiedenen AUTOEXEC.BAT und CONFIG.SYS(Shareware!). Zur Installation bitte alle Dateien in ein Verzeichnis auf der Festplatte kopieren und dies in die PATH-Variable eintragen. -BEAV133: | -beav.exe Hex-Editor/Viewer fuer Binary-Files, Dokumentation zum Paket gibt´s in der Datei "beav133.txt" -BOOTLIN: | - bootlin.com Alternativer Linux-Booter neben loadlin, der im Real-Mode gestartet werden muß, wobei kein Speichermanager wie EMM386 aktiv sein darf. Das heißt, daß man Win95 verlassen muß, um in den DOS-Modus zu wechseln. Dort kann das Programm ausgeführt werden. Dokumenation in bootlin.doc. -COMP430D: | - comp430d.exe Programm zum Packen und Entpacken von Daten nach dem Lempel-Ziv Verfahren. Dokumentation in comp430d.doc. -DPARAM: | -dparam.com Tool zum Feststellen der Plattenparameter -ELO-W32: Eloquence ist eine Entwicklungs- und Runtime-Umgebung von | Hewlett-Packard um Programme, in der Sprache "Eloquence" -setup.exe zu erstellt, zu warten und zu debuggen. In diesem Verzeichnis befindet sich lediglich das Windows-Frontend dieser Sprache, das mit der Datei setup.exe installiert werden kann. Eine Demoversion für Linux befindet sich auf der Distribution und kann eingeschränkt für 30 Tage benutzt werden. -EXT2TOOL: Linux-Filesystem-Tools fuer DOS, die es erlauben, ext2-Partitionen unter DOS zu lesen. Die Programme brauchen den GO32 DOS extender, um sich ausführen zu lassen. E2CAT analog zum Linux cat command E2CD analog zum Linux cd command E2CP analog zum Linux cp command E2LS analog zum Linux ls command E2PART listet Festplattenpartitionen auf E2PWD analog zum Linux pwd command -FIPS: | -fips.exe DOS-Partitionen verkleinern! (nur primaere Partitionen) Dies schafft Platz fuer eine eigene Linux-Partition :-) Es werden hier zwei Versionen angeboten, fips15 und fips20. Wenn Sie keine FAT32-Partition haben, ist fips 1.5 vorzuziehen. Diese Version hat sich über lange Zeit als sehr verläßlich erwiesen. Zu fips 2.0 liegen uns hingegen bisher nur wenige (meist positive) Erfahrungsberichte vor. Für weitere Informationen beachte man die Datei InfoSuSE im Verzeichnis fips, und die Datei fips.doc im jeweiligen Verzeichnis -GTAR109: Das GNU-tar-Programm (fuer Linux-Files). Source-Code | dieses Paketes liegt bei. Dokumentation über die -tar.exe umfangreichen Optionen des Programms findet man in tar.txt -GZIP: Der GNU-Komprimierer (fuer Linux-Files). Es ist als | Ersatz für ´compress´ gedacht, da es wesentlich besser -gzip.exe komprimiert.Für weitere Dokumentation siehe auch readme und gzip.doc im selben Verzeichnis. -LOADLIN: Der Linux-Loader von DOS. Auch er kann nur im Real-Modus | gestartet werden, nicht unter Win95. In der Datei -loadlin.exe linux.bat ist ein Beispielaufruf realisiert.Für mehr Dokumentation siehe auch manual.txt unter /loadlin/doc. -MIX freier X-Server für Win95 und Mac, die auch die Ausgabe | von Unix-X-Servern übernehmen können. Wichtige Fragen zur | Installation beantwortet die Datei mix_faq.txt. | win95 Installationsdateien für Win95 | -getme1st.exe Installationsprogramm -PARTPROG: 2 Festplatten-Partitionierungsprogramme (arj-Format | gepackt). Beiden Programmen liegen .doc-Dateien als -edpart.arc Dokumentation bei. -pdisk.arc -PBOOT: Tool zum Patchen des Kernel zum Booten von der | Festplatte -pboot.exe -PFDISKTC: Teilt die Festplatte in neue Partitionen auf. Für die | genaue Funktion ziehe man die pfdisk.doc zur Rate. Paket -pfdisk.exe enthält seinen Source-Code -PKUNZIP: bekannter DOS-Entkomprimierer | -pkunzip.exe -RAWRITE: Erstellen einer Diskette von einer Image-Datei | (Versionen 1.2,1.3). Schreibt direkt auf die Diskette, -rawrite.exe sämtlich Daten gehen dabei unwiderbringlich verloren! Notwendig um unter DOS Linux-Bootdisks zu schreiben. Für die genaue Bedienung des Programms lesen Sie bitte den entsprechenden Handbucheintrag. -TTSSH: | -ttermp23.zip Freie Terminal-Emulation für Win95/NT, unterstützt | zahlreiche Protokolle (gepackt im zip-Format). Als | Anleitung gibt es im Verzeichnis ein readme.txt. Das | Archiv kann z.B. mit WinZip, Pkunzip entpackt werden. | -ttssh.zip ttssh ist ein freier SSH-Client für Windows, es ist als Erweiterung für Teraterm Pro (Packet ttermp23.zip) gedacht. -UNTGZ: Schneller Entpacker von .Tar und .TGZ-Archiven für alle MS-Plattformen und OS/2. Sorgt auch automatisch für passende DOS-Namesanpasung der entpackten Dateien. -VNC: Die Win32-Version des VNC-Pakets (VNC = Virtual Network Computing). Dieses Paket macht es möglich, auf einem Rechner eine Art virtuellen X-Server zu starten und von einem anderen Rechner (plattformübergreifend) darauf zuzugreifen.(gepackt mit Tar) -XFS186: umfangreicher NFS-Client fuer DOS (Shareware). Für NEx000-kompatible Karten reicht der Aufruf von xfs.bat, um das System ans Netz gehen zu lassen.Dokumentation existiert in der Datei xfs.txt. -XFS32-11: NFS-Client fuer Win* (Shareware), die Windows-Variante von | XFS186 | -setup.exe Installationsprogramm für XFS32-11 -ZIPZP715: ZipZap - LowLevel Disk-Editor (Shareware), mit dem auf der | Platte direkt gesucht, geschrieben und gelesen werden -zipzap71.exe kann. No memory management software like EMM386 may be active. This means, you must leave Win95 and change to the DOS mode. The program can be executed there. Documentation is available in the file bootlin.doc. -COMP430D: | - comp430d.exe Tool for the packing and unpacking of files according to the Lempel-Ziv procedure. Documentation is available in comp430d.doc. -DPARAM: | -dparam.com Tool for the determination of disk parameters -ELO-W32: Eloquence is a development- and runtime-environment by | Hewlett-Packard. With it you can maintain and debug -setup.exe programs written in the computer language "Eloquence". In this directory only the Windows frontend for this language can be found. Install it with SETUP.EXE . A demo version for Linux is contained in the distribution. It can be used for a limited time of 30 days. -EXT2TOOL: Linux filesystem tools for DOS. You can read ext2- partitions from DOS with these tools. The programs need the GO32 DOS extender in order to be executable. E2CAT similar to Linux cat command E2CD similar to Linux cd command E2CP similar to Linux cp command E2LS similar to Linux ls command E2PART lists partitions on the harddrive E2PWD similar to Linux pwd command -FIPS: | -fips.exe Use this tool to change the size of DOS partitions (only primary partitions). This can be used to create space for a Linux partition ;-) Two versions are available : fips15 and fips20. If you don't have a FAT32 partitions, it is recommended to use fips15. That version proved to be reliable for a long time. So far we received only a few (although very positive) comments on fips20. For further information please read the file InfoSuSE in the fips directory as well as fips.doc in the corresponding subdirectory. -GTAR109: The GNU tar program (for Linux files). Source code is | included. The documentation for the large number of -tar.exe command line options of this program is available in tar.txt . -GZIP: The GNU compression utility (for Linux files). It is | intended to be a replacement for 'compress´. Compression - gzip.exe rates are usually much better than for 'compress'. For further information read the files readme and gzip.doc in the same directory. -LOADLIN: The Linux loader for DOS. Also this tool may only be | started in the Real Mode, not under Win95. In the file - loadlin.exe linux.bat an example on how to call this program is shown. For further information please read the file manual.txt in /loadlin/doc. -MIX Free X server for Win95 and Mac. It can be used to | display the output of Unix X servers. Questions | concerning the installation are answered in the file | mix_faq.txt. | win95 Files needed for the installation under Win95 | -getme1st.exe Setup program. -PARTPROG: 2 programs for the partitioning of the harddrive |-edpart.arc (packed with arj). Documentation for |-pdisk.arc is included in .doc-files. -PBOOT: Tool for the patching of the kernel such that it boots |-pboot.exe from the harddrive -PFDISKTC: Divides the harddrive into new partitions. For exact |-pfdisk.exe informnation about the functionality you should read the file pfdisk.doc . The package contains the source code. -PKUNZIP: Well-known DOS tool for the unpacking of files. |-pkunzip.exe -RAWRITE: Writing (linux-)image files to a floppy (versions 1.2, |-rawrite.exe 1.3). Writes directly to the discette. All data on the discette will be overwritten and can't be recovered afterwards ! This tool is necessary to create Linux boot disks under DOS. For further information, please read rawrite.doc . -SETUP: Sources and binaries of the S.u.S.E. DOS setup tools | which can be used for the first part of the Linux -setup1_4.tgz installation under DOS. Please read the corresponding section in the manual for further information. -TTSSH: | |-ttermp23.zip Free terminal emulation for Win95/NT. Supports numerous | protocols. It is delivered in the zip-format. Instructions | are available in the file readme.txt. The archive can be | unpacked with e.g. WinZip or Pkunzip. |-ttssh.zip ttssh is a free SSH client for Windows. It is intended to be an add-on to Teraterm Pro (package ttermp23.zip). -UNTGZ: Fast tool for the unpacking of .TAR and .TGZ archives for all MS platforms and OS/2 . The tool automatically generates valid DOS names for the unpacked files. -VNC: The Win32 version of the VNC package (VNC = Virtual Network Computing). With this package it is possible to start a kind of virtual X server and to access it from another machine (independant from the hardware platform). The package is packed with TAR. -XFS186: NFS client for DOS (shareware). For devices compatible to NEx000-cards it is sufficient to call xfs.bat in order to connect the system to the network. Documentation is available in the file xfs.txt. -XFS32-11: NFS client for Win* (shareware). This is the Windows | version of XFS186 . -setup.exe Setup utlity for XFS32-11 -ZIPZP715: ZipZap - LowLevel disk editor (shareware).
