860PORTS.EXE -- This is an I/O dump of the ports used by the
Number Smasher-860. Run this program before installing
the board; it should report "No response" at all the
                 locations tested.

ALT860P.EXE -- This program causes the alternate port address to become
active. (See the host I/O map at the back of your manual.)
Run this program after the board is installed and then run
860PORTS to check for the presence of links at the alternate
                 I/O addresses.

STD860P.EXE -- Same as ALT860P.EXE but causes the standard ports to become
                 active.

ALT860P and STD860P only test the hardware. Running an application under
RUN860.EXE (the host file server) can cause the board to switch from
standard port address to alternates or vice versa, depending on the presence
of the ALT860 environment variable. ALT860P and STD860P in no way depend on
or alter the ALT860 environment variable.

RESET860 -- resets, in hardware, the Number Smasher-860. Reset is
applied via both standard and alternate ports.

RESETSTD -- resets, in hardware, the Number Smasher-860. Reset is
                 applied only via standard port.

RESETALT -- resets, in hardware, the Number Smasher-860. Reset is
                 applied only via alternate port.
