WWW::HtmlUnit::Spidey Spidey is a Perl wrapper of HtmlUnit for web scraping. It sits on top of the CPAN module WWW::HtmlUnit but departs from any Mechanize-ish syntax. It is for all those that need enough JavaScript support but don't like Java and want to develop scalable web crawlers in Perl, working at a very abstract level just like when using a browser manually! Infact Spidey is much faster and robust than driving a real browser as with WWW::Mechanize::Firefox. INSTALLATION To install this module, run the following commands: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the perldoc command. perldoc WWW::HtmlUnit::Spidey You can also look for information and tutorials at: Spidey official web site http://code.google.com/p/spidey RT, CPAN's request tracker http://rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bugs.html?Dist=WWW-HtmlUnit-Spidey AnnoCPAN, Annotated CPAN documentation http://annocpan.org/dist/WWW-HtmlUnit-Spidey CPAN Ratings http://cpanratings.perl.org/d/WWW-HtmlUnit-Spidey Search CPAN http://search.cpan.org/dist/WWW-HtmlUnit-Spidey/ LICENSE AND COPYRIGHT Spidey is copyrighted by Antonio Bonifati and licensed under the Apache Licence, version 2.0.
