The program also converts files between .tar.gz and .tar.bz2, provides an automatic splitter/unsplitter to fit a file onto a set of floppies, and includes wizards that help users compile and install software through kArchiver's interface.
Please note that there are separate versions of kArchiver for KDE
1.x and 2.x, and they are *not* compatible.
